Boardsports is a sports club, where sports are the priority.
The coaches are certified and & well experienced in snow and water.
They know what you want and what your strong points are.
It doesn’t take a lot to become a member. Motivation and passion to snowboard or surf, a little time in summer or winter and off we go!
Joining boardsports.at gives you the opportunity to participate in trainings, camps and travels as well as access to online portals.
Whether it is the snow or surf camp, it is always organised BY snowboarders and surfers FOR snowboarders and surfers - without bureaucracy or worries, because the team knows what matters.

Tr3nd Eventmanagement
Tr3nd Eventmanagement organises events with passion, love for detail as well as professionalism to the max. Manager Keni Grosch and his team set great value upon individual wishes and cost-conscious calculations. Besides social and cultural events, the Tr3nd Events are primarily specialised on providing service for athletes and the organisation of sportive events.
The Tr3nd Team and the athletes in its care (Skeleton, American Football, athletics,…) are passionate ‘Drinkers’. Thus, the cooperation developed harmonically. The natural ingredients of D.E.R. DRINK can help achieve a high athletic performance and equally support the phase of recovery. Regular physical activity increases the quality of life, prevents various medical conditions and stimulates rehabilitation of many health issues. The Tr3nd Event team pays great attention to especially this potential of prevention.

Danube Dragons - American Football
Brisk movements stamp the story of the Dragons: they were supplying points at the 1st Cup in Lower Austria; 5 years later reaching the final for the first time; 2 years after that dropping down a division lower; back up to vice-champion in 1997, and then again climbing down one division lower.
They returned in 2001 playing with the top teams, and participated at European contests in 2004. The year 2006 was dedicated to building up new strengths to get back to the top rankings in 2007. They achieved a second comeback and it was going to last. “We came to stay” is the message. The 4th rank as well as the close results against Europe’s top-teams emphasise the cheeky slogan at the start of the season. 2008 was the year to assure the position and shorten the distance to the top.
Besides the team’s success, other developments, which had less irruptions, have been in progress over the past ten years:
By now, there are about 50 people working for the organisation, the up-and-coming players of a number of formerly 15 have been increased to 140 boys participating in an all-year program, and starting off with 5 girls, there are meanwhile 60 cheerleaders.

Patriots Telfs - American Football
The club was founded in autumn 2003 and after a year of training the first friendly games were carried out in 2005. The team’s quality was approved by invitations to games in France and Germany. In autumn 2006, the club decided to use its contacts to the market town of TELFS and changed its name to “AFC PATRIOTS” with residence in TELFS.
In December 2006, they started the training after having consulted Dr. Stephan Opperer (the mayor) and those responsible for the sports centre Telfs. In summer, 2007 they began cooperation with MERAN WOLFZ from south-Tyrol Two friendly games were played in Telfs in autumn 2007, which were necessary to enter leagues.

Wacker Wunderknaben
The Wacker Wunderknaben (Wacker boy wonders) is a soccer team of students, which was established in March 2008. The team consists of regional players and sixth division players from Vienna, Lower Austria and Burgenland. After its foundation in spring, the team’s first big appearance was the participation at the Vienna Academic Soccer Championships.
They defeated their competitors in an extraordinary game and the Wacker Wunderknaben had thereby achieved their first title. In November, the Wackers represented Vienna at the Academic Soccer Championships in Salzburg where they were the favoured team at their first participation at the national championships. They lived up to their title “favoured team” and nationally remained undefeated.
Their next aim is the European Championship, which will probably take place in Poland the coming year.
